Welcome
"I will be pleased to welcome my guests into my family's recently renovated Guest House, located along the ancient Via Flaminia, between the historic Ponte Milvio and Piazza del Popolo, to share with them the beauties, unique in the world, of my city: Rome.
The Flaminio neighborhood, in addition to the convenience of its location, immediately outside the historic center, offers its visitors history and modernity.
With comfortable walks you can reach Ponte Milvio, existing since Roman times, today the undisputed destination of the "dolce vita" of the capital; the Olympic Stadium and the Foro Italico, the Auditorium which hosts, during the period of the famous and sweet Roman October, the Film Festival; the MAXXI, national museum of the arts of the XXI century, the Olympic Theater, the Bridge of Music.
In just a few minutes by tram, the bus stop is right in front of our house, you can reach Piazzale Flaminio, where the laziest can use the subway for comfortable and fast movements.
Sports enthusiasts can instead start from here a surprising walk among the most famous places of interest in the capital: from the shaded paths of Villa Borghese to the panoramic terrace of the Pincio, from Piazza del Popolo to the shopping street par excellence, Via del Corso, and to the famous Via Margutta, Via del Babbuino, Via Frattina, Via Condotti, passing through the splendid Piazza di Spagna, throwing a coin into the imposing Trevi Fountain, or reaching the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, to reach Piazza Venezia and, along the Fori Imperiali, the Colosseum.
Domus Ponte Milvio carries out its activity in an apartment located on the ground floor of an elegant building with concierge service, consisting of four rooms, all with private bathroom, and a spacious garden.
In addition to the central position, it offers its visitors the advantage of being in a very quiet area, with little noise and with several parkings: it faces the street parallel to Via Flaminia, Viale Tiziano, a boulevard shaded by tall plane trees and crossed only by local traffic.
I wanted to give my grandparents' house a name with an antique flavor, Domus Ponte Milvio, just as a tribute to my neighborhood, rich in history. But I also wanted to link the most beautiful places in my city to a means of our modernity, cinema. And in particular to famous films set among the symbolic places of Rome. My guests can choose whether to stay in the room dedicated to the movie "The Gladiator", or sleep between walls that recall "The Great Beauty", or be welcomed in the room that pays homage to "La Dolce Vita ", or finally spend their roman holidays in the suite ..." Roman Holiday "!
I hope that our home, full of good memories for me, can also be an opportunity for you to have an unforgettable stay in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome. Why, as the great Roman poet Ovidio used to say "Quid melius Roma?", "What's better than Rome?"
